The historic Denso Hall building which was restored by the Heritage Foundation of Pakistan at a cost of 15 million rupees was handed over to Mayor Murtaza Wahab on Friday December 15th, 2023. The event was attended by the Heritage Foundation board members where a short handing over ceremony was held.
The key was handed over to Mayor Murtaza Wahab and a short prayer for the flourishing of the city of Karachi and the safety of its historic buildings was recited by Heritage Foundation board member Afroza Bhamani. Afterwards, the chairperson conducted the Mayor around a display, consisting of pictures of the state of the building when it was taken over by the Heritage Foundation from Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation. There was a lot of damage caused to the building on account of misuse by KWSC, and a lot of effort was required to restore it to its original condition.

The Heritage Foundation of Pakistan has prepared two brigades, 24 strong, to teach regenerative farming to 100 villages in order to make them food secure. The villages are in Mirpur Khas and Tando Allahyar districts. The aim is to reach 400 villages.
