New wideout is a rich man Francisco Rodriguez Jersey -- signing a four-year, $100 million deal with Philly after being traded from the during the first round of the 2022 . Brown's departure from the Titans was a dramatic one, as the franchise had no plans to deal the star receiver, but things went awry in contract negotiations.Despite his bright new future, Brown has often pointed to the past over the last few months. The night he was traded, Brown tweeted goodbye to Tenne see while adding " " before deleting the me Chase Utley Jersey sage. He also claimed he was the , and when signed his extension earlier this week.During an Network interview at Eagles training camp Thursday, Brown was asked if he had come to terms with how things ended with the Titans. "You know, it's a busine s, and I'm not upset about the trade or anything because it is a busine s or whatever," Brown said, . "But to be honest Pete Rose Jersey , I just didn't appreciate how it all went down, and they just kind of blamed me for it. I'm man enough to say that, however people may take it. But I have no bad blood with Tenne see. I'm moving forward. I'm happy to be here. But (there are) a lot of things people don't know about, and they're just pointing fingers at me. But that's OK."Why the Titans traded one of their best players is something that is still -- and Zack Wheeler Jersey probably always will be -- debated. Brown told after the transaction that Tenne see didn't give an offer that was even worth . However, reported that the Titans offered more than $20 million per year. Brown has said that he wasn't to blame for the trade, yet it was reported that he actually requested a change of scenery. Something went wrong in extension talks, and that was that. The addition of Brown is a reason why Scott Kingery Jersey the Eagles are seen as one of the big winners of the offseason. They signed and to go along with Brown, and also scored in the NFL Draft, selecting two players from one of the best defenses in history in Georgia linebacker and defensive lineman .

J.J. Watt seriously considering joining

The ' succe s in 2020 did not result in a Lombardi Trophy, but it could play a role in them acquiring a three-time Defensive Player of the Year. Cleveland's succe s last season is one of the reasons J.J. Watt is seriously considering the Browns as one of his options, .Cleveland's Bryce Harper Jersey succe s last season, its salary cap space, and the culture that Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski has brought to the organization are among the things that have reportedly caught Watt's attention. Though he is not looking to break the bank, Watt does want to get properly compensated. The Browns can (and are willing to) do that; they have just under $22 million in cap space to work with.In Cleveland, Watt -- who was released by the Texans on Friday after a decade in Houston -- would join forces with fellow star defensive end , who earned All-Pro honors in 2020 after recording a team-high 12 sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 14 games. Watt could be signed to replace soon-to-be free agent , whose nine sacks last season was the second-highest Aaron Altherr Jersey total on the team. The Browns finished 16th in the in sacks last season, a number that would surely rise with Watt and Garett playing opposite JT Realmuto Jersey of each other."The guy's a hell of a player," Watt said of Garrett prior to Houston's Week 10 lo s to Cleveland. "He's got speed. He's got quickne s and power. He's got all the tools you need, and he's obviously playing at an extremely high level." Watt wants to play for a succe sful organization that has a strong culture. The Browns check both of those boxes, as Cleveland is coming off of an 11-5 regular season and the franchise's first playoff win since 1994. The Browns have a powerful rushing attack, a still-improving young quarterback in , and a defense that allowed just one touchdown in their 22-17 divisional round playoff lo s to the .Stefanski clearly played a significant role in the Browns' 2020 succe s. While Drew Hutchison Jersey his offensive background helped the Browns' offense take considerable steps forward, his leadership has been praised by some of the Browns' team leaders. "People don't follow fake leaders," Mayfield said during the 2020 season, . "When you have a group of men that are doing this and everybody's counting on you, you can sniff somebody that's fake out extremely quickly. That's not the case here."Will all of this be enough to lure Watt to Cleveland? The , after all, currently employ his two younger brothers: outside linebacker T.J. Watt and fullback . The would give him the opportunity to play for a contender that also happens to play in his home state. In Tenne see, Watt would be reunited with his former defensive coordinator, Mike Vrabel, who in 2019 led the to within one game of the .Watt will have his options but, based on what the Browns have to offer, it's clear that Cleveland should be mentioned among the frontrunners John Kruk Jersey to land the veteran pa s rusher.

Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea bec

defensive tackle touchdown against the on Trevor Bauer Jersey Sunday not only gave him a football souvenir to keep forever -- and extended his team's lead -- but it also gave him an record. It is not a record you usually hear about players aiming to break, but Vea became the heaviest player to ever score an offensive touchdown, .The 347-pound, 6-foot-4 athlete, who occasionally takes the fullback role on short yard situations to open a lane for the running back, tried his hand in a new role on offense. On second-and-goal, Vea was wide open in the far side of the end zone and secured his name in league history with a 1-yard touchdown reception from quarterback .He ran around celebrating his first career touchdown with his teammates and made Don Drysdale Jersey sure to hang on to the ball and hold it up as if he was hoisting a trophy. After the game, Vea complimented Winston on the throw."Got to commend Jameis. He threw me a dime. It was just spot-on," . He added that the catch was an easy one for him, "I didn't have to jump, reach out or nothing; it just came straight to me. All I had to do was just catch it." The TD gave the Bucs a 19-10 lead as the clock was winding down on the first half.According to the NFL, Vea is , which is just one pound Don Sutton Jersey more than the previous "heaviest offensive touchdown" record holder. The great honor previously belonged to defensive tackleDontari Poe, who etched his name in the record books back in 2015 when he was on the .Poe, who at the time, coming as close to our record holder as you can Corey Seager Jersey get, ran it in from the 1-yard line against the San Diego . Now, Poe is with the , the Chargers are not even in San Diego, and there's a new record holder. Vea said he is still trying to proce s the whole thing, and his first ever touchdown being a record breaking one was quite the experience."Still feels kind of surreal to me," . "It's Logan Forsythe Jersey just like I'm still kind of taking the moment in. I'm excited to look at my phone and see what my family and loved ones have to say. Just pretty excited."He also added that the last time he made it into the end zone was his senior year of high school in 2013, so it's been a minute. With help from Vea's TD, the Bucs beat Atlanta, 35-22.

NFLPA president rips unprofessional NFL

The NFL has gone so far off the rails with player punishment that it's starting to look like the WWE. Although the league would probably disagree with that statement, that's the opinion of NFLPA president . Winston did an interview on Wednesday for the first time since the , and let's just say that the offensive lineman is not happy with the league right now. The NFLPA president compared the NFL to the WWE, which is a good thing for the WWE, but probably not such a good thing for the NFL. "It's definitely peak silline s and peak unprofe sionalism," Winston said when he was asked about the Victor Gonzalez Jersey NFL's suspension threat against , , and . "It is what it is," Winston continued. "And unfortunately we've gone from this place where NFL busine s used to be conducted in a super-profe sional way by men that have played this game for a long time and a front office that has run this great game for a long time to now it's almost seemingly like these scripts that are pulled from or something like that." Someone who probably agrees with WInston is John Cena, who cracked a joke about Goodell and McMahon while hosting the ESPYs in July. A video posted by SportsCenter (@sportscenter) on Jul 13, Will Smith Jersey 2016 at 6:48pm PDT Anyway, back in July, Winston said that Roger Goodell's penchant for player punishment was so bad that of the NFL. If Vince McMahon wants to affect competitive balance, he sets up a ladder match. For Goodell, he can just suspend a player. From Winston's point of view, player punishments have gotten so ridiculous that he wants to know why the NFL owners haven't stepped in to stop Goodell. "It's hard to understand why this is being allowed to continue on by some ownership that has some control but it is and we're going to keep fighting," Winston said. "We're going to keep advising our players in an open and honest way exactly about what their rights are and about what their options are and we'll continue to go down this road and we'll continue to fight for our players." None of the four players have decided if they're going Joc Pederson Jersey to cooperate with the NFL. If they don't cooperate in the league's Al Jazeera investigation, they'll be indefinitely suspended beginning on Aug. 26. Despite the threat of a suspension, Winston said the NFLPA isn't nece sarily pushing the players to cooperate. "We've spent the last few days advising our players and letting them know in a completely honest and open way exactly what their options are, what they want to do," Winston said. "Each case is different, each guy is different. Each guy might want to do different things so no matter what we're going fight for them like crazy like we always do, and we're going go and have our players' backs. That's what we're all about and that's all we can do and that's what we're going to continue to Zach McKinstry Jersey do." Winston also echoed the sentiment of , who told NFL was bullying players. "When the NFL can't get their way they're going to bully you and they're going to try to bully you and maybe sadly that's where negotiations and things like that have gone to in America," Winston said. "That's something I'm starting to see a lot more of. But on top of it, it's also like you get to this point of where do we go from Austin Barnes Jersey here? How do we resolve any of these differences? And it's tough. That's the most frustrating thing for me I gue s." As Rodgers pointed out during his interview, if the NFL players are mad because Goodell has too much power, they only have themselves to blame. Goodell was given his power thanks to the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which was agreed to by the league's players.

Eagles-Cowboys will be determined by new

For all of the hype that and get for being two of the best young quarterbacks in the -- a league in serious need of quality quarterback play - Eddie Rosario Jersey - the pivotal Week 11 showdown between the and could be decided by their new-look ground a saults. Don't get me wrong. Wentz and Prescott will be the two most important players on the field. Football always begins and ends with the quarterback (unle s you're the , of course). But the difference between Wentz and Prescott is so negligible that we can expect both of them to rack up gaudy numbers while putting their teams in positions to win. Wentz and Prescott are the stars of the game. There's no denying that. They deserve the attention. But the running games matter, because the quarterback who gets the most support from his ground attack will likely be the quarterback who runs off the field a winner. The quarterbacks are Luke Skywalker and Prince s Leia. The running games are Jyn Erso and Ca sian Andor. Luke and Leia defeated the Empire, but they only got that opportunity because of Jyn and Ca sian's rogue operation to steal the Death Star plans and in the proce s, unite a divided Rebellion against the Empire. Don't forget about the running games. Don't forget about Jyn and Ca sian. Without them, victory won't be po sible. How the Cowboys can overcome Zeke's absence The Cowboys mi s , who just finished serving his first game of his six-game suspension. I know that sounds obvious, but Zeke is the starting point in our look at the Cowboys' ground game. With Zeke in games 1-8, the Cowboys averaged 148.1 rushing yards per game. Without Zeke for the first time last week, the Cowboys ground game declined, totaling 107 rushing yards against the . Prescott accounted for a significant portion of the yardage (42 yards), but did the heavy lifting with 53 yards. contributed 14 yards. Was the Cowboys' ground attack nearly as prolific sans Zeke? Of course not. But it wasn't bad. Its low yardage total was more due to game flow. The Cowboys trailed in the entire second half and by three scores early in the fourth quarter. As a team, they averaged 5.1 yards per carry. They found succe s running to the right. According to Pro Football Focus' metrics, only three of the Cowboys' 21 runs went to the left of the center. That could be due to All-Everything left tackle 's absence. The Cowboys are but his return is no sure thing. Morris lacks Zeke's explosivene s and flashine s, but he's capable of hitting the correct hole and making an efficient play. And Prescott is talented enough to manufacture rushing yards on broken pa sing plays. The problem is that Dallas is going up against one of the league's best run defenses on Sunday. The Eagles are allowing 66.4 rushing yards per game (an NFL low) and 3.6 yards per carry (fifth-lowest). Kirby Puckett Jersey By Football Outsiders' more advanced metrics, they're The Cowboys' decent amount of succe s last week came against the Falcons' 28th Blank Jersey -ranked run defense by DVOA. The Eagles will be difficult to crack, but it won't be impo sible. The Eagles are susceptible in one area. Coincidentally enough, that area is the exact spot the Cowboys tried to avoid last week. On runs behind the left tackle, the Eagles' defense is allowing 9.8 yards per carry, according to PFF. The pa sing game isn't the only aspect of the Cowboys' offense that needs Smith. So does the running game if it hopes to exploit the Eagles by attacking their exhaust port. To see succe s in the ground game, the Cowboys should make better use of Prescott. Last week, only two of his six rushing attempts came on designed runs. Without Zeke, the Cowboys should design more run options for their quarterback like the play below, which gave Prescott multiple options. He could hand it off to Morris, pitch it to Cole Beasley, or keep it himself. He kept it.The Cowboys lost their most deadly weapon in the running game, but they still have another lethal one. They just need to use him more. In the proce s, it could create bigger holes for Morris. Ajayi makes the Eagles' ground a sault deadly The matchup for the Eagles' ground a sault won't be nearly as difficult. The Cowboys' defense is allowing 104.7 rushing yards per game (12th) and 4.3 yards per carry (24th). And unlike the Cowboys, the Eagles just their best running back to their already crowded backfield. By , the Eagles acquired a running back who piled up 1,272 yards (4.9 YPC) and eight touchdowns for the a season ago. Sure, Ajayi struggled in his first seven games this season, yielding 465 yards (3.4 YPC), but he struggled along with the entire Miami offense, which might just be the worst unit in football. It took him only one game to explode with the Eagles. In his debut, he carried the ball eight times for 77 yards and a touchdown, showing that he still has some juice left in him if he's given adequate blocking. Football Outsiders has the Eagles ranked 18th in run blocking, but Here he is using a nice cutback to pick up six yards: Here he is picking up 14 yards thanks to a nice hole, but notice how he also runs through an arm tackle and then pushes a gang of tacklers forward at the end of the run: Here he is hitting the home run (this one is pretty much all about the offensive line): Expect him "He's able to handle everything that we give him at this point," Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich told reporters Tuesday, per NJ.com. "As the week went on, the package of plays we gave him grew. By the end of the week, he was adapting so well and learning so well, we were adding to his number of plays, because he could handle it. "When Marwin Gonzalez Jersey I look at our game plan for this week, I look at it Jorge Polanco Jersey and there's probably not a play on there that I wouldn't feel comfortable putting his number on. As far as Jay learning and knowing what to do. That speaks a lot of him and what he's able to do as a player." Ajayi turns the Eagles' already productive rushing attack into a deadly one. Prior to Ajayi's arrival, led the Eagles' backfield. Blount thrived with the last year in a goal line role, scoring an incredible 18 touchdowns, but he wasn't reliable as an every-down back evidenced by his 3.9 yards per carry. This year, he's averaging 4.6 yards per carry. He's posted an elusive rating -- a PFF statistic that "attempts to distill the impact of a runner with the ball independently of the blocking in front of him by looking at how hard he was to bring down" -- of 103.8 with 28 mi sed tackles on 109 rushing attempts and two mi sed tackles on four receptions. For the sake of comparison, rookie sensation has an elusive rating of 96.2 while star has an elusive rating of 24.4 this season. It's worth noting that Ajayi led the league in elusive rating last year.I haven't even mentioned or yet. They've combined for 350 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. The point being, the Eagles' ground attack should suddenly be regarded as one of the most capable units in football. And they're going to gash the Cowboys, wh

Tom Brady finally addresses Dolphins rum

Welcome to the Friday edition of the Pick Six newsletter! The month of June is usually a slow time in the , but has single-handedly changed that this year. We're only 10 days into the month and he's already: Won with , modeled , dyed and given his first pre s conference of the offseason.I have no idea what Brady has in store for the rest of the month, but I won't be surprised if he buys a castle, adopts a kangaroo or goes to space. I mean, at this point, literally anything is on the table.Speaking of Brady, we'll be taking a close look at what he had to say during his Denny Mclain Jersey first pre s conference of the offseason on Thursday. We'll also be going over what had to say during his first meeting of the offseason with the media. As always, here's your weekly reminder to tell all your friends to sign up for the newsletter. All you have to do is . Let's get to the rundown. 1. Today's show: What's the ' Super Bowl window and is their roster-building plan sustainable?Even though we're inching toward the slow part of the NFL offseason, things definitely haven't been slow this week. From extension to Brady's first pre s conference in nearly five months, there's been a lot of news. To break it all down, I joined Will Brinson and Tyler Sullivan for Friday's episode of the Pick Six podcast.During the episode, we spent a lot of time talking about the Rams and their team-building philosophy of "trade away all your draft picks for star players." It's definitely an interesting strategy, but it's also risky, which is probably why we Tyson Ross Jersey haven't seen other attempt to emulate them.Basically, Les Snead has decided that he's going to run the Rams like an franchise with a thought proce s of "we're going to get some superstars in here and then we're going to fill in the gaps with players who cost $2 million per year and then we're going to be competitive." Four of those superstars -- , , and Cooper Kupp -- are going to eat up nearly 40% of the Rams' cap space in 2022. Most teams try to avoid letting just four players eat up that much space, but the Rams don't care because their philosophy just won them a Super Bowl.If you're wondering how they can afford to keep handing out these big contracts, it's because Snead has no problem kicking the can down the road. The once mastered this strategy with Drew Brees' contract, but it blew up in their face when the salary cap went down in 2020.The good news for Snead is that he doesn't have to worry about this because the salary cap is per year over the life of the new TV deal. Since the Rams have their core players under contract now, it will be easy for them to figure out how much salary cap space they'll have going forward, which is why it feels like they have a strong Super Bowl window for at least the next two to three years. On the other hand, a team like the has no idea what their cap situation will look like over the next few years because they don't know what kind of cap hit they're going to take each season from a potential new contract for . If you want to listen to today's episode, where he also cover Brady's first pre s conference in five months, then . You . 2. Tom Brady holds first pre s conference since announcing his return: Here's what he had to sayIt's been nearly three months since Brady announced that he Sparky Anderson Jersey was returning to football, and somehow, he managed to go that entire three-month period without holding a pre s conference. Fortunately for us, that drought ended on Thursday when Brady finally met with the media. During the pre ser, he spent a good chunk of time answering questions about everything that came up this offseason from his relationship with Bruce Arians to whether he flirted with the .Here's :Brady doesn't deny flirting with the Dolphins. Brady was asked if he talked with the Dolphins this off-season about po sibly joining the team in any capacity and he definitely didn't deny it. The 44-year-old could have simply said 'no, I didn't talk to them,' but instead, he said this, "I've had a lot of conversations with a lot of people, as I've had for the past three or four years in my career, about different opportunities when I'm done playing football. I kind of made a decision of what I'd like to do. I'll get to be in the game of football. ... The most important thing is where I'm at now and what I hope to do for this team. That's been my commitment, to this team and this organization." That sounds like a guy who definitely talked to the Dolphins. What's the state of Brady's relationship with Bruce Arians? After Arians surprisingly retired on March 30, there was some speculation that he only stepped down because he wasn't getting along with Brady. However, the QB denies that claim. "He and I have a great relationship," Brady said of Arians, . "Part of the reason I chose here was because of Bruce. I mean, he and I have been -- incredible communication -- I have great respect for him. He knows how I feel about him -- that's the most important thing. And I know how he feels about me."Brady also got asked about Gronk. One big Victor Martinez Jersey unknown this offseason is whether is going to return. Brady on the subject, and unfortunately, he does not. "I think it's just, obviously, totally up to him. We'd all love to play with him, but he's got to make the best decision for himself, and he knows that," Brady said. "Anybody that cares about him knows that he is doing what's right for him, which is trying to figure it out. We don't have training camp for about six weeks, so whatever he has to do to figure it out. I think we will be Joe Jimenez Jersey hopeful if he does. And if he doesn't, we've still got to go out there and figure out what to do."Of all the subjects he touched on, I find the Dolphins thing especially interesting because it's pretty clear that he had talks with them. That's important to remember because Brady is going to be a free agent after the 2022 season, which means he'll be free to sign with anyone. If he was talking to Miami this year, it wouldn't be surprising at all to see him having a conversation with them in 2023. 3. Davante Adams explains why he ditched Aaron Rodgers for Brady wasn't the only star NFL player to hold his first pre s conference of the offseason on Thursday, so did Adams, and like Brady, the receiver had a lot of interesting things to say.Let's take a look at what was on Adams' mind:Uncertainty about Aaron Rodgers' future played a part in the decision to ask for a trade. Adams said he talked a lot with Rodgers this offseason, "We talked throughout the whole proce s and he was aware of where I stood, and I was aware of where he stood," Adams said. "We had talks just like what he said the other day. He mentioned we had talks about his future and what he thinks his duration in Green Bay or just football in general would look like, and that played into my decision, as well.Adams seems to think that Rodgers only has one or tw

But as the season went on, when things break down, my first read is not there, second read is not there, I take advantage of what the defense gives me."Weather could be on Milano and his teammates' side on Saturday. The temperature at kickoff is expected to be at 33 degrees without much change during the game. There is currently a 53% chance of rain throughout the game, with winds expected to reach 13 miles per hour. "We do things with the balls and that kind of stuff," Ravens coach John Harbaugh . "We were outside Wednesday and Thursday, which was good. It doesn't really matter. Whatever we get we're going to go play in. The weather is not going to be a factor, I don't believe. It's going to be whoever plays the best football in the weather. I don't think we're expecting any kind of blizzard or Omar Infante Jersey anything crazy. It should be fine."
