Stairs

Stairs

We also did the stairs and the landing at the top.  Previously, the carpet in the living room and stairs was a well-worn and loose blue color.  The landing at the top of the stairs was peel and stick tile that was coming up in spots.

Helpful hint: removing peel and stick tile (even when it's already coming up in places) is a painful, time consuming, horrid job.  Just put the carpet over the top...

Jesse's Room

Jesse's Room

Jesse's room had what must have been the original nasty matted green carpet that had gotten dark around the edges.  Now it looks so much better!!!

What you see below the window (which was replaced a could of years ago with a wonderful argon filled one) are the closet doors which I put up after the installers were gone.  Still not up is the door for the room itself which needs to be cut down at the bottom at least a quarter inch.  The door opens out and was over the tile before.  Now it doesn't fit.

Bobby's room

Bobby's room

Bobby's room also has new carpet as well as a fresh coat of paint.  The carpet in here before was pink and so cheap that every time you walked across it you'd leave little pill balls in your wake.
